DESCRIPTION AND USE
Flogard POT6100 is a liquid polyphosphate product designed to inhibit the corrosion and deposition in potable and once-through water systems.
At typical use levels, the polyphosphate in Flogard POT6100 forms a barrier film at the cathodic side of the corrosion cell. This is the primary mode of corrosion protection.
Flogard POT6100 also functions as a deposit control agent. Uncontrolled deposition in a water system can cause numerous problems including excess corrosion. Flogard POT6100 effectively controls deposition of iron, manganese and calcium to minimize these problems. The product has also been found to help control unsightly red water problems.
The ingredients in Flogard POT6100 meet NSF Standard 60 which was adopted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) has certified that this product conforms to all applicable requirements of this standard.
TREATMENT AND FEEDING REQUIREMENTS
Proper treatment levels for Flogard POT6100 depend on many factors, such as the calcium concentration and pH of the water, and other conditions particular toa given installation. For best performance, this product should be used in accordance with control procedures that GE Betz establishes for a specific application. Flogard POT6100 should be fed directly from the shipping container. For best results, this product should be fed continuously.

STORAGE
Protect from freezing. If this product is frozen during shipment or storage, slight mixing may be required to ensure homogeneity.
