ACUMER 3100

The ACUMER 3100 ternary polymer, used as a dispersant and stabilizer in all cooling water programs, is adept at using it under harsh cooling water conditions such as extremely high or low temperatures, as well as in systems with high concentrations of iron, zinc, and phosphate.
ACUMER 3100
acumer 3100 Chemical properties and reaction forms
The ACUMER 3100 ternary copolymer contains three functional groups: strong acid (sulfonic acid), weak acid (carboxylic acid), and non ionic, which gives it the best dispersion effect for most particles under a wide range of operating conditions.
Most of the carboxyl groups in ACUMER 3100 can be strongly adsorbed on the surface of particles, resulting in strong dispersion and absorption of particles.
ACUMER 3100 sulfonyl can only weakly adsorb on the surface of particles, maintain some residual negative charges, provide a certain repulsive force, and prevent small particles trapped or deposited on the pipe wall and low flow areas from aggregating into larger particles.
ACUMER 3100 non ionic groups further enhance dispersion by providing steric resistance between particles.
dispersion effect
ACUMER 3100 is an excellent dispersant that is far superior to other types of polymers, especially for dispersing dry or hydrated iron oxide, hydroxyapatite, and calcium carbonate. It is also a good preservative for phosphates, phosphonates, and zinc.
application
·Used as dispersant and stabilizer in all cooling water programs
ACUMER 3100 ternary polymers excel in the most demanding cooling water conditions, such as extremely high or low temperatures, as well as in systems with high concentrations of iron, zinc, and phosphate added. ACUMER 3100 is particularly recommended for use in higher level all organic programs. Due to its superior dispersion performance, this product can maintain excellent thermal dispersion effect, and can also achieve anti-corrosion by controlling the formation of organic anti-corrosion agents on the metal surface.
·Control boiler sludge
ACUMER 3100 ternary polymer is the preferred product for boiler water treatment due to its unparalleled ability to control boiler sludge. This polymer makes it easy to contain iron, calcium, and phosphate in the sludge during the sewage discharge process. The superior dispersion characteristics of iron oxide make ACUMER 3100 particularly recommended for use in condensation reflux pipes to control hydrated iron oxide.
Thermal/Hydrolytic Stability
The ACUMER 3100 ternary polymer will not fail in high temperature, high pressure, and high pH aqueous solutions. As a safety measure, it is not recommended to operate when the boiler air pressure is greater than 900 pounds per square inch (psig).
ACUMER 3100 is also not easily hydrolyzed. This product will not fail after being stored for 6 months at a pH of 13.5.
