DMAC solution description
DMAC solution, fully known as N, N-Dimethylacetamide (chemical formula: CH3C (o) n (CH3) 2), abbreviated as DMAC or DMA. A polar solvent commonly used as an aprotic solvent. Colorless transparent liquid, flammable. It can be freely mixed with organic solvents such as water, alcohol, ether, ester, benzene, chloroform and aromatic compounds. It is also used as solvent for polyacrylonitrile spinning and extraction distillation solvent for separating styrene from C 8 fraction. It is prepared by the reaction of dimethylamine and acetyl chloride.

Application
DMAC is used as raw material for synthetic fiber and excellent polar solvent for organic synthesis; Used in organic synthesis, solvent, catalyst and paint remover;
DMAC is mainly used as the solvent for the spinning of synthetic fiber (acrylonitrile) and polyurethane and the synthesis of polyamide resin. It is also used as the extractive distillation solvent for the separation of phenylethylene from C8 fraction, and is widely used in polymer films; Coatings and medicine. At present, it is widely used to synthesize antibiotics and pesticides in medicine and pesticides.
DMAC can be used as catalyst for reaction; Electrolytic solvent; Paint scavengers and various crystalline solvent adducts and complexes.
DMAC is used as solvent, paint remover, catalyst and organic synthesis.
Properties and stability
DMAC has very similar chemical properties to N, N-dimethylformamide. It is a representative amide solvent. When there is no acid or alkali, it is heated to boiling under normal pressure without decomposition, so it can be distilled under normal pressure. The hydrolysis rate is very slow. When n, N-Dimethylacetamide containing 5% water is heated at 95 ℃ for 140 hours, only 0.02% is hydrolyzed. But in the presence of acid and alkali, the hydrolysis rate increases. Saponification occurs when heating in the presence of strong alkali; When heated in the presence of H +, alcoholysis reaction occurs with alcohol.
Storage
Complete packaging, light loading and light unloading; The warehouse shall be ventilated, away from open fire, high temperature, and stored separately from oxidant and acid.
