Product Description
Citric acid anhydrous is an important organic acid, which is colorless crystal, odorless, has a strong acid taste, and is easily soluble in water. It can exist in the form of anhydrate or monohydrate: when citric acid is crystallized from hot water, it forms hydrate-free; when it is crystallized in cold water, it forms monohydrate. When heated to 78 ° C, the monohydrate will decompose to produce hydrate-free.
Application
Citric acid anhydrous is mainly used in food and beverage industry as sour agent, flavoring agent, preservative and fresh-keeping agent. It is also used as antioxidants, plasticizers, detergents and auxiliaries in chemical industry, cosmetic industry and washing industry.
