Isothiazolinone biocide

Isothiazolinone is mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (CIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (MIT). Isothiazolidinone is a kind of bactericide by breaking the bond between bacteria and algae proteins. Isothiazolinone can rapidly and irreversibly inhibit the growth of microorganisms after contacting with microorganisms, which leads to the death of microbial cells. Therefore, isothiazolinone has strong inhibitory and killing effects on common bacteria, fungi and algae. It has the characteristics of no residue, safe operation, good compatibility, strong stability and low cost. It is miscible with chlorine and most anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. At high doses, isothiazolinone has a significant effect on bio slime stripping.

Application

Isothiazolinone fungicides are also widely used in steel smelting, oilfield water injection, oil refinery, thermal power plant, large chemical fertilizer plant, paper mill, textile, water coating, industrial cleaning and other fields.

Packaging and storage

Isothiazolidinone is packed in plastic drums of 25kg per barrel or determined according to the requirements of users; it is stored indoors in a cool place for 10 months.
