DESCRIPTION AND USE

DeposiTrol BL5400 is a specially formulated for use in cooling tower and once-through systems for the prevention of metallic oxide deposits and typical

calcium mineral scales. DeposiTrol BL5400 greatly improves corrosion control by enhancing protective inhibitor films and maintaining clean heat exchange surfaces by inhibiting calcium carbonate.

TREATMENT AND FEEDING REQUIREMENTS

Proper treatment levels for DeposiTrol BL5400 depend on many factors, such as the nature of the cooling water, the severity of the problem and the conditions particular to a given installation. The product is best fed neat (undiluted) or diluted with good quality water to any convenient strength. In no case should it be mixed with other GE Betz chemicals.

STORAGE 

Protect from freezing. If this product is frozen during shipment of storage, slight mixing may be required to ensure homogeneity.
